Turkey Q2 GDP grows 10.3 percent, exceeds forecast
ISTANBUL, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Turkey's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 10.3 percent year-on-year in the second quarter of 2010, the Turkish Statistics Institute said on Tuesday, exceeding the average forecast in a Reuters poll. Second quarter GDP grew 3.7 percent from the first quarter, seasonally and calendar adjusted. Year-on-year growth had been forecast at 9.0 percent in the poll of 19 economists . First-quarter year-on-year growth was unrevised at 11.7 percent.
